The 49-year-old talk show host is currently single and looking for love, but has admitted his search for the perfect partner hasn't been easy, as one particular dating app keeps removing his profile and claiming he is "impersonating" himself.

He said: "I am on Tinder and there is a gay dating app that I'm on that I keep getting kicked off of because they think I'm impersonating Andy Cohen. And they're like, 'Your photos don't meet our guidelines.' I'm like, 'No, it is me!'"

But the 'Watch What Happens Live' host isn't too disheartened about his quest for love not being hugely successful, as he's having "fun" being single.

When asked if being single was a "good thing", Andy said: "You know what, every day that I'm alive is a great thing. And yeah ... it's fun, yeah."

It comes after the 'Love Connection' host was asked out on a date by a member of his studio audience, but turned the fan down after discovering he wasn't old enough for him.

Asked about the moment during an appearance on 'The Ellen Degeneres Show' on Thursday (12.04.18), Andy said: "They did [ask me out]. They stood up, on the air, and he was ... I go, 'Are you even over 25?' And he was like 'Almost!' I said, 'I think it might be too young.'"

Andy split from his previous partner Clifton Dassuncao quietly earlier this year, and spoke last month about being single once again.

When asked about his relationship status, he simply said: "Yes, I am single again."

The popular host - who serves as an executive producer on 'The Real Housewives' franchise - also revealed what he's looking for in his ideal partner.

He shared: "Someone who's very independent, someone who has their own thing going on.

"Maybe someone who's never seen 'The Real Housewives'."
