The ‘God’s Country’ singer is set to tie the knot with Gwen Stefani, and has said he would love for his ‘The Voice’ co-star Adam and his band to take to the stage at the bash, as he joked Adam “owes” him a lot “just for putting up with him” over the years they’ve worked together.

He said: “I’ve been doing this a long time now and I’ve got a lot of favours out there; he may not like it but Adam Levine’s going to have to get the band together and come and play our wedding.

“I’ve already seen a music video where they crash people’s weddings and he owes me a lot for just putting up with him over the years.”

Blake also joked Maroon 5’s music is “so boring” that their wedding guests won’t be distracted listening to them perform.

He added during an appearance on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’: “I like that idea, plus their music is so boring that it won’t distract from the festivities and the reception and all that stuff.”

Meanwhile, Gwen, 51, recently said she’s excited to tie the knot with Blake, but wants to wait until it’s safe for her parents to witness her say “I do”.

She said: “I would say I just want my parents there at this point. My parents wouldn’t come to Thanksgiving because they were so scared [about the pandemic], so really would rather it not be a COVID situation. I would rather not have masks and that kind of thing.”

Large social gatherings are still a concern amid the health crisis, so Gwen and 44-year-old Blake are looking at a 2021 wedding.

She added: “Even when you cut it down to just family, it’s still too many people for COVID. So we’re sort of going to see what happens in the next few months.”
