The 'Love Island' hunk showed off a less toned physique when he stripped to take an ice bath live on ITV Racing last month and though he knows he doesn't have the chiselled abs he did when he shot to fame on the dating show four years ago, he doesn't care.

He said: “Some days all I want to do is just eat.

“When I did that ice bath challenge I was like, ‘God, my body does not look like it did four years ago in Love Island’.

“But I’m happy in my own skin. It doesn’t make me any less happy with what I am now.”

The 28-year-old star admitted he only goes to the gym when he feels he has to, and even then he doesn't stay for long.

He added to The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: “If I’ve got a holiday coming up I might get in the gym for a month beforehand.

“But I don’t really enjoy going, if I’m honest. I just occasionally set foot in there for about 20 minutes and get out.”

Chris has been single since splitting from Jesy Nelson last April and he admitted it "has not been easy" being alone during lockdown.

And the reality TV star is "open to anything" when it comes to dating as he thinks there are both advantages and disadvantages to dating another person in the public eye.

He said: “If you’re both doing two different things within an industry it makes it harder to see each other at times.

“You might have a bond with somebody, so you can’t turn them down on the basis of whether they’re in the public eye or not because they could be the one for you... I’m open to anything really.”
