The 32-year-old model - who is an avid tweeter - has taken to her account to bemoan the shortcomings of her followers, accusing them of failing to grasp how quotation marks should be used.

Responding to a message about the late American TV star Fred Rogers, Chrissy replied: "Mister Rogers would narrate himself feeding the fish each episode with "I'm feeding the fish" because of a letter he received from a young blind girl who was worried the fish were hungry. Love you, Mister Rogers. (sic)"

But then Chrissy admitted that she was worried by some of the responses she'd read, admitting it wasn't the first time she'd noticed the errors.

She wrote on the micro-blogging platform: "I'm worried a lot of you don't know what quotation marks are for. I didn't say this. Someone else did. I am quoting that person with the words inside the quotation marks. This happens often. I'm worried. (sic)"

Meanwhile, Chrissy - who is married to musician John Legend - recently announced that she is expecting her second child in June.

The American star already has 22-month-old daughter Luna with John, and while appearing on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', she revealed more information about the due date of her baby.

She told the chat show host: "I'm having a baby boy in the spring. I will tell you it's June."
