The 'Saturday Night Live' comic thinks stopping the ceremony would be a much better moment for his 'Weekend Update' co-star to speak out during the celebration, rather than waiting for the traditional speeches at their reception.

He said: "What I really want for Che is, I want him to do an objection at the wedding.

"You know, a lot of people do speeches, but I think it would be nice in that moment, so few people utilise that moment to object.

“I think he could do a really great objection.”

The 38-year-old star also addressed rumours he is planning to leave 'SNL', insisting he doesn't have a "timeline" in mind, and for the moment, he's just grateful to be working.

Speaking on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', he said: "I don’t have a real timeline. I just mean, like I started to potentially psychologically brace for the concept of leaving, which I hadn’t really done. Certainly quarantine makes you appreciate having any job."

Meanwhile, Colin previously admitted he was "so scared" of marriage before getting engaged to the Hollywood actress.

He said: "I'm getting married and it's such a crazy thing. I was so scared of marriage for so long because every time I talked to someone who just got married, or was about to get married, is like, 'Oh my God, you got to do it ... What could go wrong?' Then you talk to someone who's been married for five years, and they're like, 'Don't rush into it ... you have your whole life ahead of you. Don't have kids. They're the worst.'"
