Daisy Lowe the glamorous model-and-DJ has given up her bad habit of smoking, but admits she can't beat her nicotine cravings fully and has taken to smoking e-cigarettes to satisfy her needs instead.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, Daisy said: "I gave up last week so I'm trying these instead."

Daisy, 24, stayed off the cigarettes at the GQ Men of the Year Awards and after-party at the Royal Opera House in London on Tuesday night (03.09.13), which featured a fine selection of Remy Martin cocktails.

Numerous stars partied at the glitzy event including Pharrell Williams, former Oasis star Noel Gallagher, Jessie J, Alice Eve, Justin Timberlake, Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Daisy's ex-boyfriend Matt Smith.

It was recently reported that 'Doctor Who' actor Matt is trying to woo Daisy back and has been texting her during breaks on the set of his new film 'How to Catch a Monster'.

The couple dated for 18 months before splitting in November 2011, but they have been spotted together several times since then.

A source said: "Matt has been back in touch with Daisy. He is hoping they will rekindle their relationship. He has been sending her photos of himself on set, as he looks completely different with his new skinhead. He's also been hitting the gym and has been working out and training really hard for his new role."

On Wednesday (04.09.13) Daisy's father Gavin Rossdale and his wife, No Doubt star Gwen Stefani, announced they are expecting their third child together.

The couple already have two sons, Kingston, seven, and Zuma, five, who are Daisy's half-brothers.
