David Arquette doubts that he and ex-wife Courteney Cox will attend each other's upcoming nuptials.

The 42-year-old actor, who split from the former 'Friends' star in 2010 after almost 11 years of marriage and is now engaged to Christina McLarty, insists they are still "very close," but has no plans to invite the brunette beauty, who is engaged to Johnny McDaid, to his upcoming wedding.

Asked if they will attend each other's nuptials, the 'Scream' star told PEOPLE.com: "I doubt that. We're all very tight and very close and very supportive of everyone. You've got to give it a little [space]."

A source previously claimed that Courteney had already invited David to her wedding in Northern Ireland.

The former couple's 10-year-old daughter, Coco, will have a special job at his ceremony.

He said she can have "any role she wants," and jokingly added: "She'll be my maid of honour!"

Coco has formed a close bond with David's three-month-old son, Charlie, with Christina.

He said: "She's never jealous. She's just the best big sister ever. She can't stop kissing him enough!"

He added: "I'm good at diaper duty. It's my second time around, so I have some experience under my belt, but it's 10 years later, so that changes things."
