The 32-year-old professional dancer is in charge of organising the music for his sister Julianne's wedding to Brooks Laich, and has said that whilst he knows the 'Feeling Good' singer "can't possibly" attend the ceremony, he'd love to be able to book him for the big day.

He said: "You know who I want to get? Michael Bublé. I mean he won't. He can't possibly go, but it'd be amazing if he just sort of rose from the ground and was like 'Hello!' and started singing!"

And the 'Hairspray Live!' actor admitted he already knows he's going to cry when he sees the 28-year-old fellow dancer walk down the aisle, as he's "an emotional guy" at the best of times.

He added: "I'm kind of a sap. I grew up with all sisters so I'm in touch with that part of myself. I'm an emotional guy, so I'm probably gonna get teary-eyed. "I'm close with her, so watching her walk down the aisle, it's going to get me."

The dancing duo are currently on their 'MOVE Beyond' tour together, and Derek admits the pair get misty eyed "every single night" at the end of their performance.

He told People magazine: "We literally get teary-eyed every single night of the show. When we finish singing the song at the end, we just look at each other and we just get tears in our eyes. We're just so grateful and thankful for all these experiences we're able to have."

Meanwhile, last year Julianne admitted she is a "terrible" wedding planner, as after getting engaged in 2015, she still hadn't organised the details of her big day.

She said at the time: "We started [wedding planning] and were like, 'You know what? Let's just chill and enjoy the engagement process and the fun of it.' So we haven't really got into it really. We're kind of terrible."
