The 33-year-old rapper - whose real name is Tyrone William Griffin Jr. - was detained by police in Atlanta on Wednesday (05.09.18) after his limousine was pulled over by police just outside the Busy Bee Cafe and sniffer dogs led them to the hidden stash.

The 'Or Nah' hitmaker was reportedly travelling with six other people at the time - thought to be heading to a concert at Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood - and, although they were all pulled out for the search, they were released without charge.

An eyewitness has told TMZ that several officers and drug dogs - who were barking like crazy - surrounded the vehicle before Ty Dolla was placed in handcuffs.

A spokesperson for the Atlanta Police Department has confirmed that both cocaine and marijuana were found in the vehicle but the rap star is yet to be officially charged.

This is the second time Ty Dolla has run into trouble over the past few months as back in June he landed himself in hot water when he tried to get a blind woman moved from her seat on board his flight to Ottawa because he was "allergic" to her guide dog.

Ty Dolla was on board an Air Canada flight from Montreal at the time when he allegedly asked the unidentified woman, who was sat behind him, if she could move further back because the fur from her assistance pooch made him sneeze.

The woman reportedly offered the 'Love U Better' hitmaker an allergy pill to help with his itchy nose, but he refused and claimed he had to perform on stage later that day.

Staff on board the aircraft attempted to calm down the situation by asking Ty Dolla if he had spoken to medical at the desk prior to boarding about his allergy, but he hadn't.

However, because the blind woman had got approval to take the dog on board when she booked her tickets, the flight attendants said she didn't have to move.

They did, however, offer the rapper a seat at the back of the plane, but he reportedly turned it down because he had paid extra for the place he had been allocated.
