Eva Mendes goes all'dumb' losing the "ability to speak" when questioned about Ryan Gosling.
Actress Eva Mendes says she lost the ability to talk sensibley after a reporter questioned her on her romance with the fellow actor, she could only respond: "I'm sorry. I'm shutting down
"I'm such a weirdo. I literally lose my ability to speak - and you were doing so well."
However Eva, 39, did reply to speculation about whether the couple were planning to get married and start a family before her next birthday.
She told The Edit: "I live in a very protective kind of bubble that I've created for myself." adding she tries to ignore gossip about her own life.
Eva has always stayed tight-lipped about her relationship with Ryan Gosling, previously admitting that while she doesn't mind being asked, she "won't answer" questions about their love life, "You can ask about my boyfriend. I just won't answer."
Eva also pointed out her mother tries to keep tabs on her daughters private life by looking for stories about her online, but she's been trying to get her to avoid using search engines to keep track:- "The way my mother keeps track of me is looking me up. I say, 'Please, mother, don't Google me!' "
