The 39-year-old royal opened up last year about suffering a miscarriage whilst pregnant with her and Prince Harry’s second child, and Giovanna – who is known for her ‘Happy Mum, Happy Baby’ podcast – has heaped praise on the Duchess for sharing her story, as she believes it will help other women cope with the “loneliest grief”.

Giovanna has previously interviewed Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, on her podcast, and has said she’d love to chat to Meghan – who is now pregnant again and expecting a baby girl, who will be a sister to her 22-month-old son Archie – next.

When asked if she’d like to sit down with Meghan, Giovanna said: “It would be amazing. I’m sure Meghan’s interview would have similarities and differences to other people we’ve had on. I missed her sharing the news about her miscarriage because I was [taking part in ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’] at the time. But I think it’s so incredible when women who have a platform like hers share, because it is the loneliest grief.”

Giovanna – who has Buzz, six, Buddy, five, and Max, two, with her husband Tom Fletcher – also praised Catherine, also 39, for being “elegant and poised” when the pair sat down together for her podcast.

She told the Sunday Mirror newspaper’s Notebook magazine: “She was incredible. She was just so elegant and poised. When you see her talking to anyone, she really is engaged and listens to every word they are saying.”

Meghan previously opened up about her miscarriage in November, when she said she experienced a "sharp cramp" while changing her little boy's nappy in July and knew straight away what was happening.

She wrote at the time: "After changing his diaper, I felt a sharp cramp. I dropped to the floor with him in my arms, humming a lullaby to keep us both calm, the cheerful tune a stark contrast to my sense that something was not right. I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second."

The former ‘Suits’ star was then taken to hospital and described how both she and her husband were in tears as they came to terms with their devastating loss.

She added: "Hours later, I lay in a hospital bed, holding his hand. I felt the clamminess of his palm and kissed his knuckles, wet from both our tears. Staring at the cold white walls, my eyes glazed over. I tried to imagine how we’d heal."
