The 45-year-old singer - who is one-third of Take That's current line-up - recalled the first time he met the British comedian and television personality.

Speaking on Friday (24.03.17) during a Facebook Live interview with The Sun newspaper, Mark said: "He's so sweet. The first time I ever met James Corden he literally did the whole 'It Only Takes a Minute' dance routine before I'd even said hello and I was like, 'Wow this guy's got it, he knows everything, he's great.'"

It's no secret that James has a close bond with the band and Gary Barlow praised James for the success he's had over the last few years as host of 'The Late Late Show' in Los Angeles.

He said: "The great thing was seeing how the American's responded to him there, because let's not forget the young British lad's gone out there and he's basically set the world alight with his show, he's just taken over and I love to see it."

Take That recently flew out to Los Angeles to visit James and perform on 'The Late Late Show'. The band also filmed a special 'Carpool Karaoke' segment for Red Nose Day 2017, which will air on BBC One on Friday (24.03.17) night.

Other than the late George Michael, Take That are the only other British musicians who have taken part in Carpool Karaoke over in LA for charity.

Speaking about the experience, Howard Donald said: "We're never going to get to top George Michael's but the experience of it all was incredible.

"We went into the car with James Corden and we couldn't believe how many cameras - there were about 30 Go-Pros in there all around different angles, just driving around in this car around LA singing all the songs."
