The country singer resumed his 'They Don't Know Tour' at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Thursday night (12.10.17) following the massacre earlier this month when a gunman opened fire at the Route 91 Harvest Festival, killing at least 58 and injuring more than 500.

Jason, who was performing when the shooting began, paid tribute to those affected by the tragedy during his show last night.

In a video of the gig posted on Twitter by the BOK Center, the 40-year-old singer is heard telling the crowd: "I want this not to be something that's going to be a downer for the rest of the night.

"I want to play the show for you guys that the people in Las Vegas came to see and didn't get a chance to."

Following the massacre, Jason cancelled a number of concerts out of respect for the victims.

Last week, the 'She's Country' hitmaker returned to Vegas to visit those affected at the University Medical Center and Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center alongside his pregnant wife Brittany Kerr.

She wrote on Instagram: "Feels surreal being back in Vegas today. Visiting some of the strongest people we have ever met... fighting the toughest battle of them all... for their lives.

"You have helped us try to begin to start the healing process by seeing the strength each one of you have. Thank you for today. We will never forget. (sic)"

The day before flying to Vegas, Jason appeared on 'Saturday Night Live' to pay tribute to the victims of the shooting before performing 'Won't Back Down' by the late Tom Petty.

He said: "This week we witnessed one of the worst tragedies in American history. Like everyone I am struggling to understand what happened that night and how to pick up the pieces and start to heal. So many people are hurting.

"There are children, parents, brothers, sisters, friend. They are all part of our family. So I want to say to them: We hurt for you and we hurt with you. You can be sure we are going to walk through these tough times together, every step of the way.

"When America is at its best, our bond and our spirit is unbreakable."
