The 39-year-old musician - who is married to Chrissy Teigen, with whom he has two-year-old daughter Luna and son Miles, who turns one month this week - previously worked with Ariana for the title track of the 'Beauty and the Beast' live-action remake last year, and has wished her all the best in her rumoured engagement to Pete Davidson, whom he dubbed as a "great guy".

Speaking to People magazine, he said: "I wish them the best. I think Pete's a great guy too. I've worked with Ariana before and met Pete before, they're both great people. I wish them the best."

As a past collaborator of the 'No Tears Left To Cry' hitmaker, 24, John could see himself landing an invite to the couple's big day, which sources have claimed will follow a "winter wonderland" theme.

A source said: "Ariana has talked about marriage since she was 15. During her teen years, she was always very dreamy about a wedding and she used to call friends and talk about one day having that one special person.

"Ariana also spoke about a winter wedding, which seemed a little cold, but she loves the idea of a winter wonderland-type scene. We used to laugh about her fun ideas of a snowy wedding day."

The 'Dangerous Woman' hitmaker was first reported to have gotten engaged to Pete - whom she began dating last month just days after announcing her split from boyfriend of two years Mac Miller - on Monday (11.06.18), and the pair were spotted celebrating the happy news at Disneyland.

A source said at the time of their engagement: "It's a recent engagement. They're just two people who found love quickly and make each other happy all the time. They both started talking about it this past weekend. It's nothing they've been hiding."
