The 28-year-old actor has hailed his ‘Polar Express’ co-star as “the dad of the world” and if he was forced to go on the run, the 64-year-old screen legend would be top of his list to accompany him.

Asked which star he’d go on the run with, he said: “It's between Joaquin Phoenix and Tom Hanks.

“With Joaquin, you wouldn't know what you were getting yourself into.

“And Tom is the dad of the world, so you'd be safe anywhere"

The ‘Future Man’ actor has seemingly given a lot of thought about having to leave his life behind at short notice as he has an in-depth plan in place for what he’d do in the event of a zombie apocalypse.

He explained in a recent interview: “I would get out into the wilderness and have a motorbike I could fit my girlfriend and two dogs on. Motorbikes are a great way to get around because you can weave in between the traffic.

"I would find a clean water source and set up a little farm."

Josh has previously confessed to farting in Tom’s face when they were working on ‘The Polar Express’.

Recalling the embarrassing incident, he explained: "We're shooting this scene where he's playing the hobo and he's on top of the train, skiing down, and I'm nestled under him, and we're like, 'Whoa, this is crazy.' I farted."

Josh revealed his award-winning co-star didn't find the incident to be especially amusing at the time.

But looking back, the younger actor now considers the moment to be a "rite of passage".

He shared: "I farted in the scene, it happened, I did it and instead of playing it cool, Tom Hanks is like, 'Whoa, whoa, oh my God, this kid, what the heck.' My first big movie and I just farted in his face.

"It was a rite of passage and looking back on it, it was very funny, but at that moment, I thought my face was gonna just start sweating blood."
