The former Pussycat Dolls star, 33, has revealed she was emotionally unstable throughout her teenage years and was referred to a medical professional to help beat her demons.

She explained: "When I was 14, I went through quite bad depression and saw a psychiatrist. She used games and workbooks to get into my head as I wouldn't talk to her."

The blonde beauty was diagnosed with social anxiety and put on a strong dose of medication to treat her mental condition but found dancing was her best form of escapism.

She added to the Daily Mail newspaper: "She diagnosed social anxiety and put me on medication called Paxil. I hated it and only took it for a month. It made me feel numb. Instead, I did more dancing, which helped."

Despite the darkness she experienced as a child, Kimberly feels she's in the best place, mentally and physically, since welcoming her daughter Willow into the world last December.

And she's even keen to add another one to her brood with her husband Max Rogers as she wants little Willow to have lots of brothers and sisters to play and grow up with.

She said recently: "I would love to have more children with my husband Max, who's an amazing father.

"I want Willow to have siblings one day but for now I'm just getting to know her. I can't even begin to think about what surprises life has in store."
