The 45-year-old actress - who has penned an expose on her life within the Church of Scientology, which she quit in 2013 - claims the former couple's pre-wedding dinner was constantly interrupted by the cries of a baby, but no one apart from her seemed to concerned.

According to Leah, after five minutes of hearing the wailing, she followed the noise to a nearby bathroom, where she found three women - including Tom's sister and his assistant - gaping at the couple's then-seven-month-old daughter, Suri, "as if she was [late Scientology founder] L. Ron Hubbard incarnate".

In her book, 'Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology', Leah stated she eventually convinced the women to pick up the tot and give her a bottle of milk.

Elsewhere in the tome, the 'King of Queens' actress claimed Tom's older children, Isabella and Connor, wanted little to do with their mother, Nicole Kidman, because the 'Grace of Monaco' star had been deemed an SP, or Suppressive Person, by the church.

She recalled how she asked the pair, on a ride back to the airport following Tom and Katie's wedding in 2006, if they saw their mother often.

Isabella responded: "Not if I have a choice. Our mom is a f***ing SP."

The Church have branded the actress' claims "ridiculous and stupid".
