The 34-year-old star is a qualified personal trainer and he admitted that if he could help anyone in the world with their workouts, he’d choose Prince William’s wife because he’s “intrigued” by her, and he also thinks Catherine's brother-in-law Prince Harry would be up to the challenge.

Asked who he’d most like to train, he told HELLO! magazine: “Prince Harry, because he was in the army and keeps fit.

“I’d also like to train Kate [the Duchess of Cambridge], not because she needs it but because I find her intriguing.

“She’s our future Queen, so that would be a special honour.”

Mark shared daily live workouts on Instagram during the coronavirus lockdown and he’s proud he was able to help others during a difficult time.

He said: “It’s an incredible feeling. I love it and it brings so many rewards.”

Although the former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star tries to eat healthily, he also likes to indulge in takeaways with wife Michelle Keegan at weekends and insists he wouldn’t be happy if he restricted himself all the time.

He added: “I know people who won’t have carbs and eat a clean diet every single day. I’ve tried that but it doesn’t work for me or make me happy.”

Mark has released a new book, ‘Get Fit, Get Healthy, ‘Get Happy’ – which features workouts and recipes – and although he hopes it will help others get in shape, he insisted happiness should be the main goal.

He explained: “I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been. I love going to the gym and feeling fit.

“With other 15 years’ experience, I’ve figured out what works and what doesn’t.

“Any guy or girl who wants to tone up, get fit, eat well and lead a balanced life; this guide is for you.

“But keeping fit isn’t just about the way you look. It’s about how you feel too. There’s nothing more important than being happy.”
