Lucy Mecklenburgh has opened up about revelations Max had slept with Jasmine Lennard saying that she and the Wanted singer were never in an exclusive relationship Lucy adds there are "no hard feelings" between them over the models revelation that she slept with Max.
Talking to OK! magazine Lucy says: "He's single and I'm single - we're not an item. He can do what he wants, so I feel bad that he's getting bad press for cheating on me when we're not together. There are no hard feelings.
"Me and him have never been official. We met up a few times, we had a laugh and we've been in contact. We're both single and that's the way we wanted to keep it."
Lucy - who was previously engaged to her 'TOWIE' co-star Mario Falcone, who is currently appearing on 'Celebrity Big Brother' - insists she and Max, 24, enjoyed a flirty and fun romance and she realised from the start it probably wouldn't develop into something serious.
She explained: "We never got to be at the relationship stage. We just got on and went out a few times.
"It was just quite friendly and flirty. We met up a few times. We liked each other, but we're both really busy. He's in a different country most of the time. I think we both knew there was never going to be anything that came out of it. It was very innocent."
