Nicole Scherzinger

Nicole Scherzinger feels British and is pleased the people of the UK have welcomed her into the country so well.

Scherzinger originally from Hawaii is appearing as a judge on the UK edition of 'The X Factor' and says she feels like she truly belongs in England since she has spent so much time here.

She said: "I do [feel like I'm British], because Britain has accepted me and treated me so well. I live here more than I do in the US now."

Nicole loves British people for the way they have made her feel welcome in the country.

She told new! magazine: "I love their sense of humour. I love their hearts. Unbelievably talented people. It means a lot that they have embraced me for who I am and not made me feel like a stranger. I really appreciate it."

Nicole, 35, also admitted she finds it hard appearing to speak on live TV rather than to sing.

She added: "I get nervous. I'd much rather be singing on stage than speaking. You never know what's going to come out of my mouth. I like to run before my shows and then I say a prayer."
