The 'Firework' singer hosted Creators Party in association with Spotify at Cicada restaurant in Los Angeles on Saturday (13.02.16) and Orlando - who is reported to be dating the star - attended to show his support.

A source told PEOPLE: "It's really sweet. The party is for music producers and artists only but Orlando showed up a bit later and they're together."

Other stars who attended include Sia, Ariana Grande and Beck, but it does not appear as if Adele or Katy's rival Taylor Swift stopped by.

Katy previously said that the pair, who have both withheld their music from Spotify's streaming service were invited, adding: "It's just up to their schedules."

Katy also revealed that her party, which she referred to as the "Met Ball of music", is only for "creators" and no managers, journalists or publicists are allowed.

She told the New York Times: "They are not creators. They're important to the creation, but it's only artists, producers and songwriters. There's a press opportunity in the front, like a red carpet, but if you want to be more low-key you can arrive via garage. I'm trying to keep it as pure as possible because in the eight years that I've been going to these things, I am just always so exhausted.

"You have to be a creator - it's artists, producers and songwriters. And it's a mixture of new and familiar artists, a combination of the past two years' Grammy nominees and also [acts] from the Spotify Discover playlist. It's Kacey Musgraves, Karen O, Miguel, Tove Lo, Shirley Manson, Max Martin. Then up-and-coming songwriters like Blood Pop and Bonnie McKee all under the same roof as Diane Warren. In some ways, I'm trying to start the Met Ball of music."
