Paris Hilton is reportedly househunting for a luxury penthouse apartment in New York City because she wants to be closer to her siblings.
Hilton was shown round a number of penthouse apartments just a few hours after arriving into the city on Friday (12.09.14) as she is keen to spend more time in the Big Apple to be closer to her siblings Barron and Nicky.
A source close to Paris - who flew into New York for the launch of her sister's book '365 Style' - told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: "Paris [is] looking at penthouse apartments downtown so she can be closer to her sister Nicky, who lives in New York, and her brother Barron, who also lives here."
The 33-year-old beauty hopes being in New York will enable her to do more in helping her younger sister plan her wedding to James Rothschild.
The source said: "Nicky is getting married soon, and so Paris really wants to be able to help her sister and be involved in the wedding plans. She also loves New York, having grown up in the city."
And Paris is unlikely to spare any expense in looking for her dream home as it was recently revealed she earns a staggering $347,000 an hour from her DJ gigs.
A source recently revealed of her four-day residency at Ibiza club Amnesia: "She's making $2.7 million from the four nights -- $347,000 an hour.
"The crowds do seem to enjoy it, but most are too off their faces to care that she's simply pressed Play on a Beyoncé megamix."
