Paul Hogan and Linda Kozlowski have filed for divorce.

The couple - who starred opposite one another in 'Crocodile Dundee' - have decided to end their marriage after 23 years, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

The pair - who wed in 1990 - officially separated in September and a representative for Paul said the split was amicable.

Linda has allegedly asked for spousal support and joint legal custody of their 15-year-old son Chance.

Paul and Linda are best loved for the 1986 movie classic 'Crocodile Dundee'. The 74-year-old actor played Australian bushman Mick Dundee, while Linda starred as love interest Sue Charlton.

This will be the third time Paul gets divorced. The comedian got married to his first wife Noelene in 1958 before parting ways in 1981. The couple - who have five children together - then remarried in 1982 but divorced once again in 1986.

Paul reprised the role that made him an international name for the third and final time in 2001 for 'Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles'. The film came two decades after the first 1988 sequel, 'Crocodile Dundee II'.
