Prince William and Duchess Catherine have embarked on a special royal train tour.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are set to meet care home staff, teachers, pupils and volunteers across the country who have supported the country through the coronavirus pandemic.
A spokesperson said the couple were "looking forward to shining a spotlight on the incredible work that has been done" as they travel the 1,250 mile-journey across England, Scotland and Wales.
They said: "The Duke and Duchess are very much looking forward to shining a spotlight on the incredible work that has been done across the country throughout this difficult year and to sharing their gratitude on behalf of the nation for all those supporting their local communities ahead of the Christmas holidays."
Before adding on Twitter: "Over the next two days on the #RoyalTrainTourSteam locomotive, The Duke and Duchess will meet frontline workers, teachers, mental health professionals, care workers, schoolchildren & young people across England, Scotland & Wales to pass on the nation’s thanks for their efforts this year. This piece of artwork is an interpretation of the #RoyalTrainTourSteam locomotive from young British artist Joe Whale, who designed the artwork to bring to life the upcoming tour. (sic)"
To kick off their journey, Prince William and Duchess Catherine met transport workers at Euston station, London, with Shakin’ Stevens performing to kick off the tour.
The tour will highlight those who have kept the country going amid the coronavirus pandemic, to pass on the nation’s gratitude for all their work during the health crisis.
The UK’s arts, heritage and live performance sector is also set to be highlighted.
Members of the public are asking to maintain social distancing and not crowd in areas when the train passes through.
