The 38-year-old actress and Nick, 28, were joined in the UK capital by his parents, Paul and Denise, and the 'White Tiger' star has taken to social media to reveal how they celebrated the Hindu festival on Sunday (28.03.21).

Priyanka captioned a family photograph on Instagram: "Holi, the festival of colours is one of my favourites [kissing emoji] Hope we can all celebrate it with our loved ones, but in our HOMES! #HappyHoli everyone [heart emoji] (sic)"

The behind-the-scenes photo shows the family covered in colourful powders, while Priyanka is seen holding a nerf gun.

The actress also shared close-up photos of the colourful power and the eye-catching petals that formed part of their celebrations.

In the comments section, Mindy Kaling wrote: "I remember being so excited for your Holi party in 2020... and then the world got shut down. Holi 2022 perhaps [heart emoji] (sic)"

Meanwhile, Priyanka previously revealed she feels as though people within the South Asian community pick on her "for no reason".

The actress has enjoyed success in Bollywood and in Hollywood, but Priyanka believes there is a "sense of cynicism" among some people within the community.

Priyanka - who was born in Jamshedpur in India - reflected: "I do notice a sense of protectiveness from a lot of people but also a sense of cynicism from a lot of people and a sense of negativity from a lot of people. Picking on me for no reason.

"I was talking about this to Mindy [Kaling] a couple of months ago. We were talking about, 'Why is it that you get so much negativity from your own community?'

"Very few brown people are in the entertainment business, you can count us on your fingers. We're trying to create more opportunity for people like us so why is there so much negativity for us?"
