The 37-year-old actor has admitted he's such a big fan of the annual spooky holiday - which takes place at the end of this month on October 31 - that he doesn't bother removing the decorations from his house once the festivities are over.

When asked if the rumours were true whilst appearing on the 'Ellen Degeneres Show' on Friday (12.10.18), Ryan said: "I do. All year round. Well, you got your tombstones, you got a lot of like, sneaky skulls. Pumpkins, your bats, your witches."

And whilst most people will take their Halloween decorations down in time to put different ones up for the Christmas holidays in December, Ryan has a different approach.

Asked what happens at Christmas, the 'First Man' star said: "I think they go well together. I don't think they're mutually exclusive. I like a spooky Christmas, you don't like a spooky Christmas?"

He added that once Christmas is over, the festive decorations are removed from his home but the Halloween ones remain in place.

The 'La La Land' actor also claimed that leaving the bewitching decorations on his front lawn has made them the "monsters" in their neighbourhood.

Meanwhile, Halloween isn't the only thing Ryan is passionate about, as sources recently said he and his wife Eva Mendes "can't get enough" of parenting their daughters, four-year-old Esmeralda and two-year-old Amada.

An insider said: "They are both in love with being parents, and can't get enough of it. Neither wants to slow down on work interests but every day is a juggling act to be with their daughters.

"They love and respect each other and try to give the other space to pursue what they love. Now the children come first, and they share a love for them which neither had experienced before."
