Sandra Bullock's admits her divorce was just one of many "painful moments" in her life.
The 'Gravity' star, who split from her ex-husband Jesse James shortly after she won a Best Actress Oscar in 2010 amid reports he cheated on her with multiple women, claims she has been through so many tough times that she has learnt to simply tries to savour the moments when her heart isn't broken.
The 49-year-old actress told Entertainment Weekly: "When people are like, 'Life is good,' I go, 'No, life is a series of disastrous moments, painful moments, unexpected moments, and things that will break your heart. And in between those moments, that's when you savour, savour, savour.'"
But the brunette beauty, who has been named Entertainer of the Year for 2013 by the magazine, insists she doesn't have any regrets about ending her marriage.
The actress, who adopted her son Louis, three, after her marriage ended, said: "We're all where we're supposed to be. I am exactly where I want to be now. You can't go backward. I'm not going backward. I'm grateful that I'm here, blessed to have what I have. Nobody can be prepared for anything."
