Sarah Jessica Parker has sold her New York City home for $15 million.

The ‘Sex and the City’ star and her husband Matthew Broderick have officially sold their townhouse in New York’s West Village, according to property reports, two decades after they purchased it for $2.9 million back in 2000.
Sarah and Matthew’s home is on Charles Street, not far from the property used as the residence of Carrie Bradshaw, which was Sarah’s character in the hit show, ‘Sex and the City’.
It dates to around 1905 and has a brownstone base and a quintessential New York stoop, much like Carrie’s home in the show.
Sarah and Matthew did not list the property publicly, and according to the New York Post, the identity of the buyer - who purchased via a limited liability company - could not be determined.
The couple are now believed to be living in a pair of townhouses on nearby West 11th Street, which they purchased in 2016 for a combined $34.5 million.
Sarah and Matthew have lived in New York City for many years, and last year, the 55-year-old actress issued a plea to her fellow New Yorkers to help save Broadway amid the coronavirus pandemic.
She wrote on social media: “The current crisis New York is living through is a purgatory that is very unfamiliar, one that lingers on with a painful uncertainty. Sept. 11 was unthinkable, but we could walk ourselves through the grief and, crucially, grieve collectively. Nothing before has stopped lives, jobs and the economy like this. And the one thing I keep forcing myself to remember is that I can’t go to the theater to get through it.
“I’m encouraging people to come back to New York and reinvest in our community. Whether it’s a theater or a small business, you can’t reopen a business until you have the patrons there - it’s a psychological thing. And I believe it’s incumbent upon people who’ve had success in this city to reinvest, to come home. (sic)”
