Boris Johnson narrowly survives vote of confidence
British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, was left clinging onto his premiership last night (June 6th, 2022), after facing a vote of no confidence and challenge to his leadership.
Of his 359 Conservative Party legislators, just 211 said they had confidence in Johnson's leadership, with a whopping 148 looking to change the trajectory of the party and, the person leading the country.
All that was needed to survive however, was a simple majority. Though the PM says it was a “convincing” majority, most people realise that this has signalled the beginning of the end for Johnson’s time as the country’s figurehead. It’s now a matter of time as to when he will call it quits or, be ousted from his post.
Meghan and Harry release image of one-year-old Lilibet
The first birthday of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s daughter, Lilibet, was celebrated over the Platinum Jubilee weekend and now, a photograph of young one-year-old Lilibet has been released by the royal couple, after she was photographed by their close friend, Misan Harriman.
After moving to the United States, Meghan and Harry’s private life has remained very much behind-the-scenes, with the couple only updating the public on the more intimate moments of their family goings-on whenever they see fit.
So, to see a picture of Lilibet celebrating her first birthday is a real treat for fans of the royal couple! And doesn’t she look just adorable?
Olly Murs gets engaged on romantic break
When Olly Murs first shot into the spotlight, many wondered if the cheeky chappie would ever settle down. He was assumed to be a bit of a player but now, he looks set to cement his future alongside his bodybuilder girlfriend Amelia Tank, after proposing to her on a romantic break!
Now engaged, 30-year-old Tank took to her social media to share a video of the moment that she agreed to spend the rest of her life with Murs. The pair can be seen sharing a kiss, before Tank jumps into Murs arms, looking happier than ever.

Brad Pitt accuses Angelina Jolie of ‘vindictive’ plot
Unfortunately, it’s not all rainbows and happiness in the world of celebrity gossip. A new lawsuit filed against Angelina Jolie, sees Brad Pitt claim that she sold her stake in the pair's vineyard to a Russian oligarch to "inflict harm", helping to launch a "hostile" takeover of the business.
The lawsuit says that Pitt's reputation has been jeopardised by the move, and that Yuri Shefler who bought Jolie's half of Chateau Miraval has "poisonous intentions", including plans to take complete control of the winery.
The papers go on to allege that the timing of the sale was in response to a judge's decision to give Pitt 50/50 custody tentatively in the couple's court battle; a decision that’s now been rescinded. Pitt says the sale violates an agreement made by the former loved-up couple.
