The British government are attempting to change the conversation following the full publication of Sue Gray's report into lockdown parties at Number 10, but some of the MPs sitting on Conservative benches aren't happy with how Prime Minister Boris Johnson has handled the entire situation.

David Simmonds this morning (May 26th, 2022) became the third Tory MP to publicly call for the PM's resignation since the report dropped yesterday.

Sky News reporter, Mollie Malone received his statement, in which he said of the PM: "it is time for him to step down so that new leadership can take forward the important work of the government in ensuring that our people and country prosper."

Johnson will be hoping that Rishi Sunak’s ‘Cost of Living Package’ to help struggling Britons will be enough of a distraction to turn the pressure down – at least for now.

Six years after cancelling a string of huge gigs, comedian Peter Kay is set to make a triumphant return to the stage with an arena tour across the UK.

The dates will mark the first time in 14 years that the comic has embarked on a stand-up tour, but in that time, he has remained in the spotlight thanks to his work on hit shows, such as the much-loved Car Share.

If past ticket sales are anything to go by, we imagine that the dates will be a quick sellout, with fans clamoring to get their hands on a pair by any means necessary; even if that means paying extortionate amounts from those who simply buy tickets to resell them.
