Comedian Harry Hill isn't really a fan of musicals, or politics, by his own admission. So, the news that he has created a Tony Blair-inspired rock opera, set to open in London, will likely surprise the majority of people who hear about it.

Working alongside songwriter Steve Brown, the musical looks set to be packed full of cheeky takes on the New Labour years, with famous political figures such as John Prescott and Gordon Brown featuring, the former of which will be played by a woman.

Tony! (The Tony Blair Rock Opera) will open at the Park Theatre in London from June 2nd, 2022. I for one cannot wait to see the reviews that follow…

The Saturdays singer Una Healy has reportedly called time on her relationship with an Irish police officer, after just six months together. Despite the breakup, however, a source claims that Healy "isn't dwelling on it."

They said: "Una is busy with work and has her two kids to look after so it's not like she's twiddling her thumbs."

Healy's past relationships have been widely documented. She was married to rugby player Ben Foden from 2012 to 2018 and then dated Limerick hurler, David Breen for 18 months, before the two parted ways in early 2020.

Britain’s Got Talent names its first 2022 finalists

The first Britain’s Got Talent semi-final of the year got underway last night, as eight acts battled it out for a spot in the upcoming live final. Just two would make it and in the end, it would be opera singer Maxwell Thorpe and ventriloquist Jamie Leahey who secured their spot.

Thorpe made it through as the winner of the night based on the public vote, with Leahey then being announced as the second-place semi-finalists after the judges on the panel came to a split decision on who should make it through.

The BGT semi-finals continue ahead of the live final on Sunday, June 5th, 2022.
