Now I’ve lost 18 pounds. But I have to do it healthily and I have to still love my body, big or small, and I think that’s important for women and young girls to know that. Even at my biggest I was never unhappy with myself, I just knew that wasn’t my body but I was never like, ‘oh my God, I’m ugly’. I was just like, 'this is me, who cares?'

It’s sad that some young girls can’t accept who they are isn’t it?

It is really sad, and that’s why I’m doing this reality show. It definitely gave me a platform for young girls to come up to me and say, ‘I love your confidence, how did you get that way?’ I don’t really know how I got this way but I love that I can try to help other women to feel comfortable. People are so beautiful on the inside. Looks could come and go, you could be in an accident and you’ll never have that but if you don’t have a good heart and you’re not a good person, no one is going to care what you look like.

You’re known for your sarcasm and for being a free spirit. How would you say you differ from your sisters?

I definitely say anything that’s on my mind, I don’t care what anybody thinks about me. As long as I’m happy with what I did and happy with who I am then, that’s all that matters. I’m a very spiritual person so I feel like, if I’m happy and I didn’t hurt my family or hurt anybody intentionally then that’s great. But I think my sisters want everybody to like them. Kimberley is so sweet but so many people think that it’s fake and don’t know that she’s really that sweet. I feel like I have to protect her. So sometimes I feel like I come off a little differently but I’m doing it for a good cause. I think I’m just protecting my sisters.

Would you say there is a lot of sisterly rivalry?

I think there’s definitely sisterly rivalry but I think it’s in good spirit. At the end of the day, we are always happy for each other but we definitely get jealous here or there. We’re definitely happy and supportive, not greedy.

How about relationships. Have you ever fought over guys?

It’s crazy, everyone asks us that but it’s one thing we’ve probably never fought over. We never do, we don’t have the same taste in guys, thank god! We all think the same type of guys are cute but we never date the same guy.

What type of guy do you go for?

I normally go for a very athletic guy. I like them to be tall because I’m tall. I’m very active, I go on hikes three times a week with my little sisters; I’m a very outdoorsy, athletic girl. But you have to be active. You have to be low key, I like to go bowling and to the movies and do fun family things.

You provide behind the scenes and red carpet reports for MSN and Celebuzz. Who is the most interesting celebrity you’ve met?

I feel that whenever I talk to my friends on the red carpet - people I know -they’re a lot more open with you and I think it’s that comfort level. So whenever I talk to people I don’t know, even when I’m really excited, they don’t really give you much because they don’t want to be written about wrong. Nicole Ritchie is a dear friend of mine, I love her transformation in life. I love how she promotes herself now and how she came through for herself. I love the change she’s made from a young girl to this beautiful woman. So I think she’s the most interesting because of that.

You famously posed naked for PETA, saying you were against animal fur in fashion. This must be something you feel very strongly about?

It is. I’ve always loved animals, I’ve always wanted to be a vet, and been very animal conscious. But I never knew - as foolish as this might sound - I never knew how furs were made. I thought they were made from dead animals. I didn’t know that they brutally killed these animals and that they were skinned alive. To me, a lot of people don’t know how they were made. I don’t think I could be the only one who thought they had already passed away. But when PETA showed me the images I said, ‘oh my god, I can’t watch this video’. Because of my reaction, they asked me to do the campaign.

I was very hesitant because I was 18 pounds heavier and I was like, ‘no one wants to see me naked, I get so much backlash from the media already, why would I want to do this to myself?’ But my sister Kim was like, ‘it’s for a good cause, do it, it’s a great thing for you and you’re beautiful’. I did it and this was another way I could show young girls; I was bigger then but, to me, I still thought I had a great body. I don’t have rolls everywhere. Even if I’m bigger, I’m still very muscular. So I’m so happy I did it, and I’m very passionate about it.

Ok, so what does the future hold for Khloe Kardashian? Where do you hope to be in 5 years time?

I hope to have a couple of more clothing stores throughout the United States, maybe even overseas. Our clothing line and our brand DASH, I want DASH to be shoes and bags, and candles and perfumes. I want it to be everywhere and really emphasize on our brand, that’s what I would love it to be. And hopefully one of my sisters be married. I need someone to be married or have kids.

Would you like children?

Oh my god, I’m obsessed with kids. I would want to have five kids!

Finally. We’re interviewing your sister Kourtney tomorrow. Is there anything you would like us to ask her – it can be anything at all.

What does she love and hate about me? What is her biggest pet peeve with me? And what is her favourite trait about me?

If we turn that around. What is your biggest pet peeve about her?

My biggest pet peeve about Kourtney is that she doesn’t let loose. If we’re filming, I sometimes think that she thinks too hard. When she’s around us privately, she has the funniest personality, she is so hysterical. I think she gets really shy in front of the camera. I’m like, ‘come on, do what you were doing at home!’ So I want her to be more comfortable in her own skin because you would die if you heard some of the stuff she says, she’s hysterical. My favourite thing about her, I love how little she is. She looks like she’s 10 years old. Sometimes I wish I could be that little, or my height. I don’t want to be in between.

And how about Kim?

I adore how sweet she is. Every person she meets, she wants to see the great in everyone but then, that’s also a negative because people will take advantage of that. I love and I hate the same thing about Kim.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians premieres on Sunday 5th April at 10pm only on E! Entertainment Television (Sky: 151/ Virgin: 156)
