Myleene Klass talks beauty, fashion and Nail Wraps...

Like every girl, Myleen Klass is a self confessed beauty addict. With a flattering figure and womanly curves to die for, she is the envy of lots of lovely ladies. Who better to create a new line of nail wraps at the cutting edge of artist design.

"These are special nail art stickers which adhere to the nail, a clean nail - not with polish or buffering, but a clean nail and they get you through the weekend for party nails, they last for up to a week and a bit and on your feet they last for nearly triple the time," Myleen tells FemaleFirst.

"You don't need any heat, which you often need do with the nail wraps and sometimes they can cost anything up to £20 - £30 in certain stores whereas these are only £5.99!"

Coming in a range of designs and colours, the Myleen Klass nail range has something for everyone. Whether you're looking for a classic shade of red without the hassle or mess of nail polish, something delicate and feminine such as lace or the perfect party look like stars or leopard print, there is a nail wrap for you.

"I wanted something that was not going to cost the earth, that would be durable and look really blooming good!"

"We use our hands to desticulate, to type, to point, to eat, to play - we use them for everything and yet it's not always easy to sit and have a manicure done and wait for them to dry...So why shouldn't you treat yourself?" she enthuses.

Myleene's thought process when designing the wrap was ensuring durabilty and a great finish for the nails. She feels strongly about making sure that these are quality products that will not shrink and will last.

"As a busy working mum, all us girls are very busy these days, you want to get a lot of bang for your buck."

Myleene drew inspiration from anywhere and everywhere for this collection of wraps: "The lace came from my girlfriend's top - she was sitting in the meeting and I just said ' we need to do lace!'"

"It was as easy as that, we had to get the background right to match a multitude of peoples ethnicities...I've had such fun doing the focus groups with my girlfriends."

Rarely seen with a hair out of place, Myleene is a keen follower of fashion, but believes that nobody can be an expert in it as it's too 'subjective,' she loves Marc Jacobs and classic fashion with the potential to glam up in your own individual style and manner, which is where fantastic nail art comes in handy!

2011 has been a year full of love for Myleene as she welcomed her daughter, Hero into the world and planned and executed the perfect secret wedding. Despite sleep deprivation and butterflies, she admits she might be tempted to pile on the make up, but instead believes in one key facial feature.

"I try and accentuate one thing, rather than everything, whereas before I'd think I'd do big, heavy eyes and amazing lips and it ends up getting a little too much. Choose one thing you're going to accentuate and let the rest work around it," she advises.

Marc Jacobs may be one of her design loves, but another is Kate Halfpenny. As well as designing Myleene's stunning wedding gown this year, Kate has created dresses for everyone from Kate Moss to Rihanna.

"You go into her house and it's like walking into a different era. It's all vintage and beautiful - she pays attention to lace, texture, velvets - she's so inspirational the way her eye works. She looks at everything in such an interesting and different way," continues Myleene.

It's not hard to see why Myleene has taken a step into the beauty industry. Aside from building her brand and Klass name, which already consists of a successful internation line of baby clothes for Mothercare called Baby K, she is clearly one for experimenting in the creative process.

These wraps are fun, fashionable, can be mixed and matched and easy to apply - just what ever girl is looking for at the moment.

The question is: Has this wet her appetite for more beauty product design in the future?

"Well there is a very busy year for next year planned already, but I don't want to blow the surprise. Don't ask me that, I can't keep my own secrets! It was hard enough keeping the wedding secret and now you ask me that!" She giggles.

"All I'll say is watch this space!"
