John Cooper Clarke

John Cooper Clarke

Time and maintaining relevance isn't an issue for John Cooper Clarke, who has managed to maintain a prominent persona in culture since the 70's.

He has toured with musicians such as The Sex Pistols,
The Clash & Buzzcocks and even Elvis Costello whilst in
America.

The performance poet is truly one of a kind, never
failing to impress audiences with his satirical and
biting verse that is delivered in a style like no other.

His influence is undeniable and most noticeable on the Arctic Monkeys-covered 'I Wanna Be Yours' poem, which features
on their latest studio album 'AM'.

Not only this, but John took UK rapper Plan B's offer of appearing in his directional film debut 'Ill Manors'. This
collaboration spawned 'Pity The Poor Fellow' - a duet
between the pair that features in both the movie and on
the soundtrack.

Now, a single date at London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire
will see John take to the stage once again to satisfy
the thirst of his many fans.

It's a rare chance to see the master of words where he most feels at home, and is sure to sell fast.

The performance will take place on March 7 of 2014, but
you can get your tickets for the show now.
