If you dream about being lazy or feeling so, then you may be disappointed with the way something turns out in your waking hours. Perhaps you didn’t put the work in or were distracted and something that could have gone far, slipped through your fingers.

Laziness in a dream can also present feelings of shame about not living up to your own potential or having a lack of confidence in your own ability. Are you expecting too much of yourself and that is why you never reach your goals? Do you need to make your dreams more realistic? Or, do you need to get moving and actively pursue what you want?

The dream could simply act as a warning to you not to be lazy- to avoid it at all costs because it gets you nowhere.

More positively, people are often lazy when they feel they can be- on a day off, on holiday or when something has reached completion. So, you may be feeling happy, calm, relaxed and cleansed in your waking hours so you’re allowing yourself a little laziness as a treat for all your hard work.

Perhaps the dream is telling you that you need time to rest and rejuvenate- that it’s ok to be lazy because you deserve it and your body needs you to reduce the pace.

If you dream of a partner being lazy, this could foretell a rocky patch and feelings of insecurity within your romantic relationship in real life.

Laziness might be considered a measure of affluence and wealth. If you are in a conformable place financially and don’t need to work as hard- the dream could be a reminder to you not to forget what was needed to get you to this point and not to take it for granted.
