When you win a prize in a dream, it often signifies an emotional satisfaction or feelings of success.

Perhaps you have made progress with a personal development or reached a big goal and you now feel more confident than you once did because of it.

Maybe you feel you deserve this accolade because you came up with the idea, you executed it and you saw it through to the end so you are not ashamed of feeling pleased with yourself.

On the flipside, you might be feeling resentful that you aren't being rewarded with a prize for your efforts. You may have worked really hard on something and if you expected some recognition at the end of it all, and haven't been given any- it's possible you are feeling cheated.

It might also be your subconscious telling you that you can succeed in anything you put your mind to. In other words, your dream is encouraging you to push yourself if you lack some self-belief at present.

Perhaps you only see value in your successes when they are witnessed by others. It might be time to acknowledge the things you do that others don't know about and try to worry less about what other people think of your achievements. It might be wise to focus on what they mean for you instead.

Not everything you do has to be prize winning, but if you do it with passion and to the best of your ability- this is all anyone can ask. If all you are looking for is the trophy or the medal in life, then you are going after the wrong thing. A prize is as much about the journey as it is the end result.

Consider the phrase ‘booby prize’- if someone is trying to highlight the fact you came last in something, perhaps they are deliberately trying to sabotage your chances of success later down the line. Do you need to distance yourself from this toxic person?

With that said, if you are the person who is placing focus on someone else coming in last, perhaps it’s time to examine why you feel the need to belittle them. Is it to mask your own insecurities? Have you done something wrong that you want to shift the focus away from? If so, this is not the way to go about it.

Take a moment to consider what the prize was for in your dream. This may give you greater insight into an area you should focus on if you want to do great things within it.

To dream about dough suggests that you have something relatively uninteresting in your life at present which you plan to make more interesting. This could be an upcycling project, a fixer upper house, some writing that needs heavily editing- whatever it might be- you can see the potential in but currently it’s pretty bland. Perhaps you need to make a package more attractive for someone who is looking for the finished product. Dough is an informal term for money, so the dream might be referring to your financial state… to read more click HERE
