To dream about a rainbow foretells good fortune in the future, so you may receive an unexpected windfall or your hard work will pay off financially; more so, if there was a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

To dream of something that is rainbow coloured suggests you need to try and see things more positively rather than focusing on the negatives all the time. Try being more optimistic rather than pessimistic and see where it takes you.

Rainbows are also symbolic of unusual events, so you may have experienced something lately that is foreign to you or perhaps you are about to encounter something that doesn’t happen very often in your life.

If you are in a relationship and see a rainbow in your dreamscape, it could mean that you are content right now and will experience a lot of happiness in your future together. More so if the rainbow was connecting the horizon to the horizon.

If the rainbow was connecting the sky to the horizon this represents the connection between your earthy self and your spiritual self. Do you need to pay more attention to your inner self and your psychological wellbeing rather than focusing on material or physical things?

If the rainbow appeared after a storm or heavy rainfall, then your troubles are coming to an end, if you just hang on for a little longer and they will soon be over.

If the rainbow appeared with the rain, then you may be seeking out the positives in a difficult situation in order to make it more bearable.

Rainbows have more recently become a symbol of gay pride so if you saw a rainbow or rainbow coloured animals or objects- this could represent your gay and lesbian friends or you if you are gay too.

Perhaps you have a yearning to explore and discover new things- this doesn't necessarily need to be for more money- but it could be something like knowledge or experiences.
