If you dreamed about your uncle, perhaps you crave some respect or attention from a father figure in your life. It’s possible you have no prominent male role model in your waking hours so it’s something you yearn for.
If you were talking to an estranged uncle or speaking with your uncle alone, this could mean that your family will endure lots of troubles and quarrels because you are not making decisions as a group. Many of you are breaking off into sub groups and it’s causing backstabbing and animosity.
If you had a nasty encounter with an uncle in the past, perhaps you have never got over this and that’s why you keep dreaming about him. Perhaps you are afraid, or feel something was unresolved with this particular family member. Your subconscious could be telling you to make amends or address your fears surrounding them.
An uncle represents the extended family, so the dream could be telling you to put in some time with the family you haven’t seen in a while.
On the other hand- it might be persuading you to look more outwardly, rather than just at what is right in front of you. If you do- it could offer new opportunities for you, new ideas and a greater awareness.
More negatively, an uncle may have bad connotations too as extended family might only visit when there is unfortunate news. Perhaps a family member is in poor health or someone’s circumstances have changed dramatically and for the worst.
