To dream about a cheerleader suggests you need to be more encouraging or motivational in your waking hours.

This could be towards others or even yourself. Perhaps people are relying on you to be the voice of confidence and offer supportive words and advice. If you’re not currently delivering such positivity, do you need to increase your focus on this aspect of your role? This is even more likely if you were the head cheerleader in your dream.

On the other hand, maybe you are trying to push yourself into achieving something and you are struggling to find the enthusiasm to do so. Do you need to seek someone out who can help you to turn this around?

If someone close to you has been successful lately, the dream may reflect how happy you are for their achievements. Were you their cheerleader all along? If so, perhaps your good vibes spurred them on and you should feel proud of yourself for playing a little part in their success.

If you are an optimistic person, the dream may be a simple reflection of your cheery disposition. Perhaps its purpose was to encourage you to maintain this side of your personality.

It may have served you well so far, so why change now? Is someone trying to get you to abandon this side of yourself? If so, ask if they are the right sort of person to spend time with. If they are trying to encourage you to change your most positive of traits, it may be wise to distance yourself from them altogether.

If you were a cheerleader in school, perhaps you are missing this time in your life. Try to pinpoint what about this period in your history you yearn for. Is there an element you can recreate in your life now? The camaraderie maybe? Or do you need to get in touch with the people who were in your team if you have lost contact?

It’s possible someone is being a cheerleader for you right now- is it benefiting you or are their efforts over the top or unnecessary? If they are making you feel uncomfortable, it might be time to let them know that you don’t need such passionate support. Maybe a more subtle approach is more fitting for you.

On the flipside, if you thrive on this kind of inspirational talk, do you need to thank this person for their continued spirit?

Whatever is slowing you down might not be visible or obvious so take some time out to really think about how you feel both physically and mentally. The drink which is also known as ‘The Green Fairy’ was thought to have hallucinogenic properties. The dream could therefore be telling you that you are imagining things- perhaps you are overly sensitive and looking for things that aren’t there. You may be reading too much into people’s facial expressions, offhand comments and actions. Try not to assume anything until people tell you or show you otherwise. Absinthe was blamed for causing madness, seizures and death during this time- so perhaps something that is seemingly appealing to you could have very negative consequences. Think twice before making your next move as you might regret it. Absinthe isn’t sweetened, so perhaps the dream is telling you to sweeten up your life- your days are too plain or something has turned sour and you need to inject sweetness into your waking hours… to read more click HERE
