To dream about dough suggests that you have something relatively uninteresting in your life at present which you plan to make more interesting.

This could be an upcycling project, a fixer upper house, some writing that needs heavily editing- whatever it might be- you can see the potential in but currently it’s pretty bland.

Perhaps you need to make a package more attractive for someone who is looking for the finished product.

Dough is an informal term for money, so the dream might be referring to your financial state.

If there was plenty of dough in your dream, perhaps you are feeling comfortable with your financial situation, however if there was very little dough, you may be worried about how you are going to pay your bills.

Is there some way you can make more dough? Perhaps you haven’t explored all your options and there are avenues available to you to support yourself and your family better.

If you were combining the necessary ingredients together to make a dough, perhaps you are bringing several elements together in your waking hours. This could be the pulling together of resources to complete a task or calling on skilled people who are integral to getting something done.

If you were putting the dough into the oven, then perhaps you are ready for the next stage of something in your life.

You have taken all the relevant actions up to this point and are ready to move on. The dream might be telling you to double check yourself before you enter the next phase as anything you’ve overlooked will impact the subsequent chapter.

If your dough was baking in the oven, you may be well on your way to finishing a task- perhaps it’s out of your hands now. You may have very little left to do now and you are feeling positive that it’s nearly over.

Dough can be used to make breads, cookies and pastries, so the dream could alert you to a decision you have to make. What do you want the outcome to be? If you know this now, it will make things easier down the line. There may be no room for indecision at this point.

If your dough was baked in the dream, you may need to simply sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labour.

With that said, if the dough was still raw inside, you may need to give something more time- perhaps you are trying to rush something and you need to accept that good things come to those who wait.
