To dream about the colour navy suggests that you are looking for a deeper purpose to something.

Perhaps you are not satisfied with the information you have been given and you want to take things a step further, to delve a little deeper.

Consider how you felt about the colour in your dream, if the dreamscape was steeped with negativity, perhaps you have taken something too far and you feel there is no going back. You have reached a dark place and you are finding it difficult to see the light in a situation.

Similarly, perhaps you believe someone in your life is morally bad or dangerous. In which case, you may need to distance yourself from this person if you feel they are an unhealthy influence on your life.

On the other hand, if the dream had a positive air to it, perhaps you feel something is richer or more sophisticated for having taken it to a new level.

To dream about being in the navy or meeting someone who is in the navy might be indicative of your attitude towards the sea.

The dream could be due to some inner yearning to travel more, but perhaps circumstances at present mean that you can’t.

If you are afraid of the sea, it’s possible the dream represented this or indeed something else you are frightened of. Consider what else was in the dream for additional meaning.

If you are someone who has been affected by family members going off to sea, perhaps the dream is related to feelings of missing something or someone in your waking hours. What can you do to get it or them back? Maybe you need to accept that this distance is for the best or part of a bigger plan and to learn to accept that it will be this way for some time- but not forever.

Maybe this dream is synonymous with feelings of abandonment if you have been hurt by someone leaving in the past. Even if it was for good reason but you couldn’t see it then, perhaps these feelings are resurfacing as a result of someone new putting their career or something else first, even before you.

There are stereotypes that surround people in the navy and words that are often used to describe people in this profession, such as regimented, committed and rigid. Perhaps the navy represents an unwavering dedication in you to do something- to reach you goals and dreams. If so, keep going- just don’t be so inflexible that it damages meaningful relationships.

With that said, it’s possible this is something you lack and the dream is telling you that you need to be more disciplined in order to succeed at something.
