Joshua Jackson says he has never forgiven his father for stealing his dog.
The 'Dawson Creek' star, whose parents divorced when he was six, has
revealed that his relationship with his father never recovered after John
Jackson battled to keep the pampered pooch as part of his divorce
settlement.He said: "You're not going to believe this. My father fought for custody of
my dog, won, and then gave him away to a kennel. I was six, it was twenty
years ago amd I'm still angry. My dad never really talked to me again."But the heartthrob star, who grew up in Canada with his mother and sister,
says his relationship with his father is still strained.The 26-year-old actor admitted that he had tried to patch up relations with
father John Jackson after he quit family life in the mid 80s, but said the
pair would never be close.He said: "I had a conversation with him recently and we buried the hatchet. That was sort of it for me, because at the end of the day, I look at him and
I don't know this man. They say blood is thicker than water, but I don't
know."
