Mel Gibson

Mel Gibson and Arnold Schwarzenegger will help Jay Leno wrap up his tenure as the host of America's the Tonight Show by agreeing to be among the funnyman's final big name guests.

The two Hollywood heavyweights will join Prince, Lyle Lovett and Billy Crystal among the celebrities who will visit Leno for his final week of shows, beginning on 25 May (09).

It is not known if Gibson will talk about his divorce when he sits down to talk to Leno on 25 May (09), but Schwarzenegger is sure to fire up the ratings - he announced he'd be running for office as California Governor on the Tonight Show in 2003.

Funnyman Conan O'Brien will take over from Leno as the host of the beloved Tonight Show.

Leno returned to work last week after a brief stay in hospital amid speculation he was suffering from suspected dehydration.

He was discharged twenty four hours later. On his return to the Tonight Show he joked his stay in hospital was due to the outbreak of swine flue.
