Neil Patrick Harris and his partner are to be honoured at an upcoming gay rights gala n Los Angeles.
The How I Met Your Mother star and his fiance David Burtka, who are parents to twins, will be feted at the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center's 40th Anniversary Gala in November.
The theme of the event is '40 years of family' and Harris jokes that they will have to bring their babies to ceremony, telling E! Online: "I just hope we can keep our speech short. I don't know how long the valet attendants can entertain the babies without a major meltdown."
Burtka adds: "To be recipients of this award on the 40th anniversary of the LA Gay & Lesbian Center? We are very, very honoured. It should be a great night."
