Bob Hoskins left more than £1 million to his wife of 32 years following his death in April.

The acclaimed actor passed away at the age of 71 after battling Parkinson's disease and new records show that he left his entire estate to his second wife Linda, who he married in 1982.

Probate records show that the 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit' star left £1,053,839 to his wife, who he previously claimed had helped him to cope with various bouts of depression.

Bob, who died on April 29 after contracting pneumonia while in hospital, was still married to his wife at the time of his passing and the couple were able to spend more time together after Bob decided to retire from acting in 2012.

Bob, who had four children with his second wife - Alex, Sarah, Rosa and Jack, amassed his fortune after starring roles in a number of big hits, including 'The Long Good Friday' in 1980 and 'Mona Lisa' in 1986, for which he received an Oscar nomination.

He also featured in 'Maid In Manhattan', which starred Jennifer Lopez and Ralph Fiennes.
