The 59-year-old actor and his wife Emma Heming - who he has daughters Mabel, two, and eight-month-old Evelyn with - has entered a contract to purchase a new Central West abode in New York just weeks after selling his nearby Eldorado home on the same street, which was on the market for $13 million.

Sources have told the New York Daily News that the couple - who married in March 2009 - are in the process of purchasing their new plush pad from businessman Wesley Edens, who owns the Milwaukee Bucks basketball team.

Bruce and Emma are thought to have been looking for a bigger place after having a second child together and their new abode is ideal for hosting dinner parties as there is a large dining room.

What's more, the flat boasts picturesque views of Central Park from the majority of the rooms and there is a designer kitchen and breakfast bar.

Broker Jay Glazer, who Wesley listed the property with, previously insisted the apartment was ideal for those looking for some privacy.

He said: "This is a very discreet building. It's not your 15 Central Park West. There are only two apartments per floor so it's extremely private."
