The 'Ain't No Other Man' hitmaker is hoping her six-month-old child Summer Rain will grow up to realise she is "perfection" and not have any body confidence issues.

She said: "I think by having me as a mum she will learn to stand up for herself and others, to work hard and never take no for an answer. One thing I'm very sensitive to is wanting her to always feel that she is good enough!

"I never want her to feel that she need to change herself or her body to fit a stereotype. She's perfection just how she is."

The 34-year-old singer - who has the little girl with her partner Matthew Rutler and seven-year-old Max Liron with her ex-husband Jordan Bratman - hopes she can give her children a "safer" childhood than she experienced.

She told People magazine: "Most important: I want her to be surrounded by love and grow up feeling safe. That's something I didn't have when I was young and something I have been very vocal about providing for my children."

Meanwhile, Christina couldn't help but gush about her newborn baby.

She said previously: "I have a chill baby, she's just so calm and so easy to make laugh and smile, she's just a breeze, thank God! She's just so beautiful, these big blue eyes, she's just so gorg... [I'm] very happy and feel very blessed having Summer Rain in my life."
