The actress and 'Loose Women' panellist passed away in October 2014 at the age of 66 after a cancer battle and Michael Pattemore, 60, who married the star six years before her death, revealed one of her final wishes was for him to move on with someone new.

He said: "Lynda genuinely did want me to meet someone. She was adamant that she didn't want me to be alone and said I should re-marry. Even before she died, she said: 'You have got to be with somebody'."

However, although property developer Michael has "taken a couple of ladies out to dinner, as friends", he insisted that no one can ever compare to his late wife.

He told the Daily Mirror: "Maybe I will be one day. But when you love someone like I loved Lynda - and I loved her to bits - there will never be anyone else like her. She is irreplaceable.

"When you have had something so good it is hard to find it again. I suppose I can't be celibate the rest of my life. But Lynda will be a very hard act to follow and I can't ever imagine getting re-married.

"I probably might meet someone in time, as I like to share my life, and I may live with someone in the future too but right now I don't need a relationship.

"I do miss that side of life though. It is lonely but you get used to it."
