Tori Spelling was rushed to hospital in Los Angeles on Saturday (18.10.14) after suffering from a coughing fit.

The 'Beverly Hills 90210' actress was admitted to Cedars Sinai Hospital for severe bronchitis and possible pneumonia after she was coughing so much she nearly passed out, according to UsMagazine.com.

The blonde beauty is still receiving treatment and is expected to spend the rest of the week under the watchful eyes of the doctors at the medical centre.

The TV star, who was filming for her Lifetime reality show 'True Tori' at the time, has been forced to cancel her promotional tour for upcoming season two of the programme, which premieres tomorrow (21.10.14).

The 41-year-old actress was reportedly placed in quarantine upon her arrival at the hospital following the recent Ebola scare in the US.

A source told TMZ.com: "Tori was running a fever, coughing uncontrollably, and having trouble breathing ... when she was taken to Cedars Sinai Hospital, Tori was quarantined from other patients."

However, the gossip website has since confirmed that Tori does not have the deadly virus.

Meanwhile, this is the second time Tori, who has documented her and husband Dean McDermott's marriage problems on her show, has been rushed to hospital in the past five months.

The star was hospitalised in May because she was reportedly suffering from dehydration and hadn't been eating properly due to the stress she was under following her marriage breakdown.
