Vince Neil

Motley Crue rocker Vince Neil is now part-owner of U.S. Arena Football League team the Jacksonville Sharks, and plans to move the team from Florida to his hometown of Las Vegas.

The frontman is part of an investment group which has purchased the sports team and is eager to relaunch the Sharks in Sin City, which hasn't had a professional football team since 2012.

He tells the Las Vegas Sun newspaper, "It's a great action sport growing in popularity with every game. There are some incredible players. I love the game. It will be perfect to have an AFL team in Las Vegas. "I sense the city would love it.

I know that I will because it's on my home turf". Neil joins the ranks of rockers Kiss, who launched their own AFL team, the LA Kiss, last year (13). Jon Bon Jovi was also a part-owner of the Philadelphia Soul until 2010.
